But first... coffee!

 Hey squaddies!
Growing up in Seattle it’s hard not to be a coffee addict. There is a huge coffee culture that Seattleites learn and embrace at an early age and we love our coffee! Living in New York finding an amazing coffeehouse was never an issue however living in Kuwait that wasn’t always the case. Within the past few years Kuwait has really upped their coffee game and my favorite of the bunch is Arabica. Hailing all the way from Japan, Arabica decided to set up shop in Kuwait and I couldn’t be any happier!
Upon arrival you can immediately see that the back wall is an airtight storage space for coffee beans which limits temperature fluctuation and limits their exposure to light which keeps the beans fresh. Their coffee is never over roasted, full and complex in flavor and is constant. The décor is white, clean and a bit utilitarian. Finally, their weapon of choice: the Slayer, a hand-made espresso machine from Seattle! A little hometown love and great coffee seriously what more could a girl ask?!
