My stylish staycation

Hey squaddies!
When you live in a busy city you can sometimes take it for granted and hardly enjoy the best parts until you make the time for it. I have been living in Doha since February and had not enjoyed the wonderful sunshine and seaside until last week when I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Let me start by telling you that the view from the room was just lovely - facing out to the sea towards the cool panoramic Nobu restaurant and Arabian gulf skyline. The service at the hotel was impeccable, from the start of the day right to the end of the night it really did live up to expectations. The breakfast at their Elements Restaurant was a large array of international cuisines including Lebanese, Indian, Chinese and my favorite part was the fresh juice bar of which the cucumber and apple mix was so yummy!
The day was mostly spent laying by the sea and occasionally going for a dip or two before ordering some lunch from the Pool Grill restaurant; all whilst being looked after by the hotel staff providing us with fresh water, cold towels and refreshments during a lovely day well spent by the sea! After a late lunch and hours of sunning, it was time to lay by the hotel pool before heading into the spa area.
The hotel spa offered an array of thermal pools alongside a Jacuzzi, steam and sauna which made it difficult to leave to go for a cocktail (or two) at the gorgeous Nobu restaurant before our dinner.
Upon checking out the next day there was a pianist playing in their stunning lobby which added to the ambiance alongside the gorgeous fresh flower display. I thoroughly recommend it and would definitely treat myself to a stay at the Four Seasons again.
