Travel Style Log: Phuket, Thailand

Hey squaddies, with the summer season upon us, I am sure some of you will be wondering what to pack whilst on your own vacay, so here is a log of my recent trip to Thailand for some holiday inspiration.
Whilst visiting Phuket I opted for a more reasonable place to stay for the first part and then went on to more luxurious lodgings later in the holiday. You could say that my holiday wardrobe choices were similar to the flow of my trip a bit of cheap and cheerful, mixed with a few expensive pieces!
The look: THE JUNGLE BOOK - A two piece floral number with an Eastern print pattern.
The location: Andaman Seaside Resort
Vacay log: One of the best ways to explore the town (although it was 28 degrees and humid) was to walk the streets. I discovered fresh fruits for as little as 10 riyals (£1.50) for a coconut, 35 riyals (£7) for a foot massage and a similar price for hair wash and styling.
Style tips: #1.Break up a floral two-piece with a plain white tee. #2.Pack a pair of metallic mules which will go with everything so you don't have to take a lot of shoes (leaving more space for shopping). #3.Tie up your hair when the weather gets the best of it!
Outfit deets: Glasses & tee: Mango | Floral two piece (top + skirt): Stradivarius | Mules: M&S
The look: NEON SPECTRUM - Sport luxe meets Latina boho.
The location: Patong, Jungceylon
Vacay log: A day trip to Patong is highly recommended because that is where they have lots of shopping, street market stalls and partying! I got my most treasured inexpensive souvenirs which included t-shirts, charcoal face masks, coconut oils and dried mango snacks.
Style tips: #1.Mix a logo tee with a printed silk skirt. #2.Purchase bracelets from a street market and wear them as a choker. #3.Get a fabric bag which can transist from carrying your beach essentials to walking in the street when shopping from the markets.
Outfit deets: Earrings: Heidi Severino | Choker: Purchased in the streets of Phuket | Tee: Adidas | Skirt: Warehouse | Trainers: New Balance | Bag: H&M
The look: ISLAND LIFE
The location: Phi Phi Islands
Vacay log: When visiting Phuket a visit to Phi Phi islands is a must! It was an amazing experience seeing wild monkeys and swimming in the lagoons was just breathtaking! This was also the location for Leonardo Dicaprio's 'The Beach'.
Style tips: #1. On a full-on day excursion try to wear a versatile woven loose dress which will take you from the beach to the city. #2.Break up a monotone outfit with statement / colourful earrings.
Outfit deets: Dress: Tailor made | Earrings: Heidi Severino | Mules: M&S | Hat: H&M
The look: THE FIERCE DRESS
The location: Angsana Laguna Phuket
Vacay log: I spent a few days of my trip at this beautiful hotel for a wedding. The tropical colours and the grounds made a perfect setting for showcasing this dress especially made by Kuwait based designer Charlotte Lucie.
Style tips: #1.Wear linen in hot climates! It was so perfect for the intense heat and humidity factor. #2. Visit a local hairdresser to style your humidity affected hair, it is such a luxury to be able to do, and so cheap. #3. Go wild!  Mixing prints is something I love doing, and here i'm wearing a tiger dress with zebra shoes!.
Outfit deets: Dress: Charlotte Lucie | Mules: New Look | Earrings: Heidi Severino
The look: LUXE LIVING
The location: Sala Phuket
Vacay log: Saved the best hotel until last, an absolute treasure! The Sala was luxury but still embracing nature with the outdoor bath, shower also with a private pool. Located on the beach and featuring the most incredible breakfast and dinner options! I couldn't recommend it more.
The look: HAWAIIAN PRINCESS
The location: Sala Phuket
Vacay log: Woke up early to take a walk on the beach, kicked off my accessories and went in the sea. It was time to switch my phone off and completely relax.
Style tips: #1. In the spirit of Gucci, be an extrovert and wear clashing pieces together to form your look! #2. Straw bags are perfect for summer holidays and they just happen to be really hot on trend.
Outfit deets: Shirt: Armstrongs | Belt and Earrings: Heidi Severino | Sandals and Bag: Sala hotel | Sunglasses: Le Specs | Headband: Jenny Packham
The look: CALL ME FRIDA KAHLO
The location: Sala Phuket
Vacay log: It was a perfect ending to the most amazing holiday, a great spot for a social media detox. Catching the sunset on the beach was my favourite part, oh and the massaman gai (chicken braised in a coconut peanut curry) was to die for!
Style tips: #1. Break up tonal dressing with pop colours. #2. Try out 'east meets west' fusions - the henna and the bangles were from the indian wedding celebrations. #3.Sheer dressing is an easy way to show off your bikini.
Outfit deets: Top: Bershka | Bikini and Skirt: Ralph Lauren | Sandals: Topshop

Additional holiday style tips: #1.Iron and then roll up your clothes into your suitcase so they don't get creased. #2. To my blogging girls: save your holiday inspo looks down in instagram or in a folder on your phone to help you pack only what you would want to wear. #3.Take as much swimwear as you can. #4.Laundry in Thailand is cheap, we were offered 1 kilo load for 10 riyals (£2).
